Today's
NIV: The TNIV Bible
TNIV: Worse Than Ever
Quite
some time ago, MANY preachers began to warn the world of
an underlying attempt by ungodly men to subvert the Word
of God by introducing "better (in the words of the
supporters of such things) versions of the bible and that
this was being done all in the name of "more reliable"
translations and "better understanding". Those who
supported such changed versions of the Word of God claimed
better "readability" and easier understanding. These have
been proven to be false claims.
The
newer versions require a higher grade level of education
than the King James Bible ever did. See the study on the
READABILITY of different bible versions.
Now, we
have such a perverted version of the Bible that it even
perverts the changes of the NIV into such ideas that are
never found in any previous bible versions and certainly
not in the King James Bible or even in the Hebrew and
Greek manuscripts. In fact, the TNIV promotes ideas that
not even the corrupt Alexandrian texts contain.
The
TNIV has proven itself to be one step closer to a true
"feminist" bible than any prior version and what is worse,
bible translators aren't done yet! Each translation
proves to be further from the truth and the meaning of the
Word of God than ever before in that it removes all GENDER
specific references to God!
The
TNIV is in fact being called "The Homosexual's Bible"!
I
believe that within the next few years, perhaps even with
their next major sinister masterpiece, you will see a
bible devoted entirely to homosexuals. The TNIV is so
close now that it's just a matter of time before the Holy
Bible is no different from the Satanic Bible.
The
TNIV seems to be a direct attempt to market a "politically
correct" bible that caters to the feminists of today. The
translators of the TNIV have now declared that they have
the ability to tell us what the writers of the bible
SHOULD HAVE SAID instead of what they actually did say.
The TNIV completely DISTORTS scripture and causes the
bible to breathe out lies. Friends, there is ONLY ONE
FATHER OF LIES, and IT IS NOT JESUS CHRIST.....IT IS SATAN
HIMSELF!
A
careful reading of these versions will show that the
Fundamental Doctrines of the Christian faith have been
altered many times. Those who want to replace our King
James Version with new Modern Versions are constantly
stating that no Bible Doctrines are affected by the
changes, however it is clear that many modern versions
call into question the virgin birth of Christ, they
question His deity and question His sacrifice. Some have
removed all references to worship of Jesus.
Knowing
these things, are we to believe the scholars when they
tell us that no important doctrines are affected by the
new Modern Versions? It is obvious that they have not been
truthful with us thus far.
Most of
these modern theologians seem to indicate that if there
are, for example, ten verses showing the Virgin Birth of
Christ and they have removed "only" six, it's no big deal
since there are still four remaining to prove the
doctrine. The claim then, is that the doctrine is
preserved and that there is no danger in destroying the
doctrine. That may satisfy them, but the Fundamental
believer sees that as a piece by piece destruction of the
Word of God.
This
brings to my mind a story of a King ...
Jeremiah 36:22-24 "Now the king sat in the winterhouse in
the ninth month: and there was a fire on the hearth
burning before him. And it came to pass, that when Jehudi
had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the
penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the
hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that
was on the hearth. Yet they were not afraid, nor rent
their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants
that heard all these words."
He just
couldn't stand to believe or to hear the true Words of God
and apparently, it didn't bother anyone else either.
The
Preface of the TNIV readily admits that "cultural
FORCES" (read it for yourself!) are the reasoning
behind the "gender-inclusive" changes, such as elimination
of the masculine pronouns. Here is an excerpt from that
preface:
"While
a basic core of the English language remains relatively
stable, many diverse and complex cultural forces continue
to bring about the subtle [Gen 3:1] shifts in the meanings
and/or connotations of even old, well-established words
and phrases. Among the more programmatic changes in the
TNIV is the removal of nearly all vocative ‘O’’s and the
elimination of most instances of the generic use of
masculine nouns and pronouns."
(TNIV, Preface, p. vii)
Now,
what "cultural FORCE" do you suppose is interested in the
elimination of masculine nouns and pronouns? There is
only one: It is the radical, pro-abortion, anti-male,
feminist movement.
World
magazine states that the NIV, the NIrV, the NIVI, and the
TNIV translators were pressured by women for the gender
inclusive changes:
"Pressure for unisex language came from women who, in the
words of Mr. Walker, 'felt left out' by the traditional
language."
(World Magazine, Femme Fatale cover story, March 29,
1997)
In a
more recent article dated February 23, 2002 the same World
Magazine wrote:
"Some
women whose consciousness has been "raised" don't like the
fact that the inspired writers of the Bible often used a
male example to represent a larger truth."
Gender-inclusive advocate and Professor of New Testament
at Bethel Theological Seminary, Mark Strauss, traces the
root of the gender-inclusive movement to the feminists.
CBT
translation member, Larry Walker, even admits in World
magazine that the unisex language ". . .bothered me at
first. . .": He now says he has no problem with it.
". . .
Larry Walker of the NIV Committee says: Unisex language
"bothered me to begin with very much. I guess I've
evolved.’"
(World Magazine, Femme Fatale cover story, March 29, 1997)
Evolved? Really? That is Laughable. Why did it "bother
him" to begin with?
Could
it be because. . . the TNIV translators knew they were
deliberately and incorrectly perverting the clear,
masculine, God-given, Greek text and changing it to a
false, man-made, "gender-inclusive" neuter word?
Most
pre "gender-inclusive" versions, even the worst of the
fore-runners, at least made an attempt to translate the
Greek text, but these "gender-inclusive" versions have
opened a new dark, deceitful, door. Their translation
methodology is how to NOT translate the Greek text!
Their
mind set seems to be, "How can we get around this male
chauvinist, masculine, word?"
Notice
how the TNIV translators present their "gender-inclusive"
methods on the TNIV website:
"The
term "gender-neutral" has often been used in error when
used to describe inclusive language texts. The TNIV is in
fact ‘gender-accurate.’ Gender neutrality suggests the
removal of specific male or female attributes. The TNIV
does not remove these attributes or "neuter" any passages
of Scripture. The TNIV uses generic language only where
the meaning of the text was intended to include both men
and women. These changes reflect a better understanding of
the meaning of the original Greek and Hebrew."
(TNIV: Questions and Answers,
http://www.tniv.info/qanda.php)
The
TNIV translators claim they can change the masculine Greek
text because ". . . the meaning of the text was intended
to include both men and women."
Now
Listen, if the Lord God "intended" for the verse to read
"they / them / their" or neutered, plural, gender, why
didn’t God inspire the men that penned the Greek text to
write "gender inclusive" language? It certainly isn't
because "gender inclusive" language wasn't available at
the time!
If God
didn’t "intend" what He said – then why in the world,
didn’t He say what He "intended"?
It
sounds like the TNIV translators and publishers believe
that God does not know what He’s doing and that God needs
the NIV translators to help Him "explain" what He actually
"intended" to say.
The
TNIV translators and publishers obviously claim they
possess some "psychic" ability to know what the original
writers "intended" to say. The TNIV translators claim to
know what these men (and God) "intended" – even when it
disagrees with the words the men wrote: men who were
moved by the Holy Spirit of God! (2 Peter 1:21)
That’s
a pretty nifty trick. Even Miss Cleo and the Psychic
Hotline couldn't even do that!
When
you translate someone else’s work you do not have the
liberty to judge what they "intended" to say. You must
rather, translate what they said! Can you imagine the
uproar if the TNIV translators applied the same distorted
psychic translation methods to Shakespeare, or Lincoln’s
Gettysburg Address? And yet, these translators and
publishers without hesitation dare to pervert the words of
God! There is something more foul and more sinister at
work here. The underlying evil speaks volumes.
The
simple fact is that God's words (written to us) ARE
God's Word!
The
shocker is that they admittedly confess, that it’s no big
deal to them. . .Look at some of their own quotes:
Kenneth
Barker, secretary of the Committee on Bible Translations [CBT],
the same group that translated the TNIV, just flat-out
says changing God’s Word, to a feminist "gender-inclusive"
reading, is "no big deal".
Here is
his exact quote:
"It
probably disturbs us that such a big deal is being made
over inclusive language. After all it is not changing the
sense of the passage."
Kenneth Barker, secretary of the CBT
(World Magazine, Femme fatale, Mar. 29, 1997,Volume 12,
Number 2)
Get
that. . . The fact that they’re changing the God-breathed
words is "no big deal". After all Barker says, ". . . it
is not changing the sense of the passage". Mr. Barker,
when you change the words – you are changing the sense of
the passage. But when you’ve been doing in for 30 years
via the NIV, I guess it really isn't a big deal is it?
Didn't
Jesus say in Matthew 24:35: "Heaven and earth shall pass
away, but the general SENSE of what I am saying shall not
pass away?"
God
forbid! Jesus clearly said it was His Words, not the
sense of them that would not pass away.:
Heaven
and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass
away. (Matthew 24:35)
Jesus
clearly declared in Luke 4:4 ". . .every word. . " was
inspired and God given. EVERY SINGLE ONE.
And
Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall
not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. ( Luke
4:4)
It’s
interesting to note that the NIV and theTNIV (and most new
(per)versions) leave out the prease: "but by every word
of God", as recorded in Luke 4:4
Dr.
Wayne Grudem, professor of Biblical and Systematic
Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and
president of the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood
(www.cbmw.org) correctly diagnoses the danger of the NIVI
and other Bible versions:
". .
.the generic use of "he-him-his" has consistently been
changed to "we" or "you" or "they." The result is that
whenever readers of this inclusive-language NIV read the
words "we" and "you" and "they," they will never know
whether what they are reading is what God originally
caused his Word to say, or what the translators have
decided his Word should say instead. In hundreds and
probably thousands of places, readers will never know
whether these are the words of God or the words of man.
Such revisions are not the words God originally caused to
be written, and thus they are not the words of God. They
are human words that men have substituted for the words of
God, and they have no place in the Bible."
