Satan's Counterfeit Messiah!

Satan is a counterfeiter.  Everything God has accomplished through Jesus Christ toward mankind, Satan has tried to counterfeit, including the gifts of the Spirit, salvation, power and glory. 

Examine these scriptures to see.   Most of them come from Revelation where we see Satan's attempt at ruling the world through his false Messiah:  Antichrist.

 

Jesus Christ The Antichrist
Jesus sows the good seed. (Matthew 13:24) The enemy, Satan, goes forth to sow his "tares (Matthew 13:25).
God has his children (Matthew 13:38) Satan has his children (Matthew 13:38, John 8:44)
God works in His children "both to will and to do of His good pleasure" (Phil. 2:13). The Prince of the power of the air is "the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience" (Eph. 2:2).
 We read of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 24:14)

 We also read that Satan has a gospel:  "Another gospel, which is not another" (Gal. 1:6,7)

 
Jesus has his "Apostles” (Luke 6:13)  Satan has his apostles (2 Corinthians 11:13).
God will by his angels "seal" His servants in their foreheads (Rev. 7:3) Satan will by his angels, set a mark in the foreheads of his servants (Rev. 13:16)
The Father seeks "worshippers" (John 4:23) Satan seeks worshippers also (Rev. 13:4)
 Jesus is the Light of the world (John 8:12) Satan also is transformed as an "angel of light" (2 Corinthians 11:14)
Jesus is "the Lion of the tribe of Judah" (Rev. 5:5) The Devil is referred to as "a roaring lion" (1 Pet. 5:6)
We read of Jesus and "His angels" (Matthew 24:31) We also read of the Devil and "his angels" (Matthew 25:41)
Jesus quoted scripture (Matthew 4:4-10) So did Satan (Matthew 4:6).
Jesus worked miracles (John 12:37, Acts 2:22) Satan will perform miracles also (2 Thessalonians 2:9, Revelation 16:14)
Jesus is seated upon a throne (Hebrews 1:8, Revelation 3:21)  Satan has his seat (Rev. 2:13)
Jesus has a Church (Colossians 1:18) Satan has his "synagogue" (Revelation 2:9)
Jesus has a “bride” (2 Corinthians 11:2) Satan has his "whore" (Rev. 17:16)
Does God has a city, the new Jerusalem (Revelation 21:1-2) Satan has a city: Babylon (Rev. 17:5; 18:2).
We read of the "mystery of godliness" (1 Tim. 3:16). Satan works in the "mystery of iniquity" (2 Thessalonians 2:7).
Jesus is the only-begotten Son (John 1:14, 18) Satan has his “Son of Perdition" (2 Thessalonians 2:3).
Jesus is the Son of God and also the Son of Man (Matthew 16:16, Matthew 16:27) Satan has his son: the "Man of Sin" (2 Thessalonians 2:3).

 

For everything God has done toward men, Satan has a counterfeit.  This includes spiritual gifts, and spiritual people!  Will your eyes be opened or will you be one of  the blind following blind leaders?  I trust not.  Wake up today, church, and realize not everything that shouts is a Christian.  Not everyone who appears to be Christian really is a Christian.  There are tares, false apostles, deceitful workers, false teachers, false prophets, vile men, workers of iniquity and other such people. 

Matthew 7:15-20  "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."

There is only one way to discern the difference.  Use the Word of God to "judge righteous judgment"!  (John 7:24).

When the Antichrist comes, will you be able to tell?
